Fiber optic SC APC Splitter 2X2 Rack Mounted

Overview

Choosing the Fiber optic SC APC Splitter 2X2 Rack Mounted

A 2x2 PLC splitter divides each of two inputs into two equal outputs, so one OLT port can feed up to 2 subscribers or floors in a PON/FTTH network. Typical insertion loss is about 4.3 dB per output, which you add to the link loss budget; higher split ratios mean more loss and shorter reach. Rack-mounted housing with pre-terminated connectors keeps the splitter tidy in the comms room or central office.
